At least that's what NBC-Universal thinks.
NBC-Universal registered the domain, freshsqueezed.tv, about a month ago (8 January 2007). Kind of an odd name. For now the site's just parked. I couldn't find any shows in development that would have that name. Not even as an alternate title. So I didn't think much of it.
Until today.
Early this morning the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) published NBC-Universal's filing for "Fresh Squeezed." And, for once, a company was very specific in its filing. "Fresh Squeezed" will be a 'one-hour daily news and entertainment program.'
Never would've guessed that we needed another "E! News Daily" or "Access Hollywood" or "Daily Buzz" or "Inside Edition" or "The Insider" or "Extra" or ... Well, you get the idea.
Update (11 Feb 2007, 11:42AM PST): See comments for additional ideas of how "Fresh Squeezed" might be used.
Update (7 Mar 2007, 11:56PM PST): From the comments: See a picture of the hosts on the set.

No.
NBC will give back "Passions"' time period to it's local stations in exchange for the network taking back the 10-11 A.M. or 11 A.M.-12 Noon hour (depending on the station) for a fourth hour of "Today".
"Fresh Squeezed TV" may be a syndicated show, or NBC may cancel it's long-running soap "Days Of Our Lives" sometime in 2008 (perhaps right before the Beijing Olympics) and replace it with
"Fresh Squeezed TV" (with the latter perhaps premiering right after the Olympics end).
If it's a network show, "Fresh Squeezed TV" could conceivably be broadcast live to the entire network (except perhaps Hawaii) from 3 to 4 P.M. Eastern time. Such a live-in-49-states format could allow for live coverage of breaking news in both pop culture and more serious areas of national/world events.
Thanks for the clarification on "Passions" time slot and the additional ideas for how NBC might use "Fresh Squeezed."
Sounds like you have more info than me:)
Some more description below. I got this in email:
"Did you see what Matt & Meredith did yesterday on TODAY?
Did you catch Jay Leno's monologue last night?
Did you see that hilarious guest Ellen had on?
If you missed it, now you have the chance to see it all on FRESH SQUEEZED with Hoda & Touré. It's the clip show of all clip shows.
Each day, Hoda & Touré will bring you the best of the best in television and film. We highlight the best moments from morning television, daytime talk, primetime news, reality and game shows all before a live studio audience. If it's a water cooler moment, Hoda & Touré are talking about it.
Hosts: NBC's Hoda Kotb & BET's Touré"
