American Heiress

Back in September Variety reported that:
Fox's Twentieth Television continues to rake the archives of Latin American television for MyNetworkTV. Its latest format acquisition is "La heredera" (The Heiress) from Mexico's TV Azteca.
More recently — on November 17, 2006 — MyNetworkTV, Inc. filed docs with the USPTO to protect the phrase, American Heiress. I haven't heard a firm preem date, but I'm guessing we'll see the skein in September 2007. Update (7 Dec 2006): After reading the synopsis for MyNetworkTV's "To Live and Die," it's obvious that the show will be renamed "American Heiress" and preem in June 2007.
Update (2 Feb 2007): "American Heiress" will debut on March 13, 2007 according to the The Hollywood Reporter.
