Looks like NASCAR is developing another revenue stream.

On December 4, 2006 NASCAR filed documents with the USPTO for the phrase "Ride Shotgun," specifically for "television subscription broadcasting services." Can't you see it now? You'll have the chance to plunk down some hard-earned cash to watch the race from the vantage point of a camera in the passenger seat next to your fav driver. I'd love to have two-way voice communication just so I could heckle a driver for the entire race.
